Hey, kids - new shiny L1 just dropped. The Aptos Foundation released their tokenomics outline as it finally launched mainnet. Transaction speeds and controversial tokenomics disappoint on the first day and CT has been rather unanimous about shitting on Aptos. Recall - received $150M funding in July, led by FTX Ventures and Jump Crypto, with participation from Binance Labs. Coinbase, Binance, KuCoin, FTX, OKX, Huobi, Gate & MEXC are listing Aptos on Oct. 19. Aptos asked major exchanges not to list perpetual contracts within 2 weeks however Binance and OKX will list perps within an hour of spot. All this comes as Bitcoin trades at a precarious level. Should be fun.

TL;DR: Today we see light flow into stables - Compound USDC and DAI with a more considerable outflow from USDC and also USDT. Weekly shows continued flow into DAI, WETH and SYN and outflow from WBTC, USDC and MATIC. Azukis getting increased spike in volume on recents announcements, floor up ~ 15% as well as a flurry of smart money buys.

It's not great that FTX/Binance etc are all listing Aptos without any tokenomics transparency at all. Surely it should be a prerequisite to listing something that users can have the basic information on what they're buying lol

The one sliver of hope for Aptos not immediately nuking to Tartarus is the Solana chart. You can tell the usual suspects have been r̶u̶t̶h̶l̶e̶s̶s̶l̶y̶ ̶d̶u̶m̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶o̶l̶a̶n̶a̶ securing liquidity to build a plunge protection fund for Aptos.
