MetisDAO Ecosystem: Tristan Metaverse
Tristan MetaWallet is a social network-based infrastructure that engages both Web 2 and Web 3 users.
Web 3 has been a buzzword in the modern world, and we cannot talk about technology evolution without having it in the mix. We already have a lot of development in this area, and applications such as the Brave browser and non-fungible tokens are perfect examples of what Web 3 offers. Web 3 is all about having an interconnected world, decentralized internet, having power/ control over your own assets and experience and enabling more avenues to earn/monetize.
Blockchain gaming and Web 3 applications still have teething problems such as:
High entry barriers. Web 3 requires a steep learning curve to join, unlike Web 2, where everything is just a click away. The long and tedious process limits the mass adoption of GameFi and Metaverse.
Complex & awful mobile experience. To access most Web 3 applications you need to copy a dApp link sent to you, paste it into your browser and use a browser extension to connect your wallet to sign in. This is not the experience that modern mobile users are used to.
Lack of scalability. The dApps and games in the current setup are mostly silo solutions. It even gets worse as they are complex to interact with and thus become a barrier toward mass adoption.
Tristan MetaWallet Focusing on Solving Industry Pain Points
Tristan MetaWallet is a social network-based infrastructure that engages both Web 2 and Web 3 users. Tristan MetaWallet solves the above challenges through:
MetaWallet combines both Web 2 and Web 3 worlds to mediate the barriers to entry. Tristan simply brings the user experience and convenience of Web 2 to the Web 3 world.
The ability to stay within your social media networks, while accessing Web 3, (Telegram, Twitter, and Discord) solves the user-experience hurdle. To launch the application, all you need to do is click a link, and your Telegram handle will be your unique identifier.
Community API with multi-dApps open infrastructure solves the scalability problem. Tristan acts as a gateway to various developers and communities.
In addition to that, Tristan MetaWallet is also a crypto wallet product with innovative features as it does more than allow you just to send and receive crypto. Users can send Red Packets to fellow Telegram users which can be used in various ways, like to tip other users for positive interaction or to send gift to a friend., add and issue new tokens with a Telegram account, and airdrop tokens to a Telegram group(s) automatically. Various features are targeted to foster a positive and transparent community experience which many Web 3 communities have trouble with while other features are focused on quality of life improvements to make the process of wallet interaction simpler.
MetaWallet API for third-parties
MetaWallet supports transaction API for on-chain transactions, interaction API for command registration & bot, function API for status/event monitoring, and hosting API for off-chain storage. With these third-party APIs, you can:
Stay within Telegram to launch dApps, DeFi, and Crypto games.
Enjoy one-click authentication.
Buy and withdraw fungible and non-fungible tokens.
Leverage interactions and social structure of Telegram groups.
Register new commands for DAO operation.
Mint (publish) game assets from off-chain to on-chain.
Customized solutions for dApps, like telegram based interaction with dApp
Why social media integration?
Accessibility and convenience are two crucial features that the Tristan team has identified to make games more adoptable. Instead of having web-only games, the team has designed their games into an instant dApp launchable on social media platforms such as Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. These platforms also have many users, with Telegram, Twitter, and Discord registering 550M, 330M, and 150M active monthly users, respectively.
The ‘one-touch’ feature makes it easy to launch the game without leaving the social media platform you are accessing. The account integration system ensures that players can use their Discord, Telegram, or Facebook as their login and wallet identity.
Dual token model
Tristan has two tokens; Tristan Club Coin ($TCC) is the Community token, while Tristan GO ($TGO) is the Tristan’s Governance Token. TCC is the community coin and rewarded in the community mini-games and command line interactions. $TCC has a total supply of 100 billion tokens.
Tristan GO ($TGO) is the primary token of the Tristan Metaverse and is capped at 200 million tokens. $TGO is used in the following areas:
Users need $TGO as an entry fee to the metaverse and pay fees for using the APIs associated with MetaWallet.
Users can stake $TGO and earn rewards.
It is the entry point to the community SaaS tool.
Holders earn revenue from the profits distributed by Tristan.
Users can use $TGO to purchase/unlock advanced features on the metaverse.
To take part in DAO governance
Tristan Metaverse raises $1M in a private fundraising round
Tristan recently raised $1 million in private fundraising from investors like Bitcoin.com, Ascensive Assets, Spark Digital, Waterdrip Capital, InnMind, Damo Labs, Fundamental Labs, and 369 Capital. Tristan Metaverse is the first project to receive an investment from Genesi DAC, an initiative that seeks to invest over $100 million in the METIS ecosystem.
The strategic decision to expand beyond the current crypto audience is what has made Tristan Metaverse gain recognition from leading chains and Layer 2 solutions. The Metaverse has received investments and grants from NEAR, Metis Genesi DAC, and Polygon. Tristan has also entered into strategic partnerships with major players, allowing them to leverage their ecosystem.
Tristan is posing as a leader in Web 3, and these strategic partnerships are making it a reality. They are becoming an integral solution provider for Web 3 projects looking to create an ecosystem.
Wrapping up
Tristan Metaverse, with its MetaWallet, hopes to be the “virtual home” of gamers. Tristan combines GameFi, SocialFi, and NFT worlds. Typical dApps in decentralized finance do not allow players to launch with one click. They aren’t portable nor optimized for mobile devices, but Tristan’s approach to integrating social media into gaming is unique. We hope that the team will continue releasing products that take crypto gaming mainstream.
